LAS ACTIVIDADES FUERON ORGANIZADAS POR EL GRUPO CIUDADANOS LA UNIÓN Miembros del grupo político «Ciudadanos Región de Murcia» disfrutaron de una divertida jornada de convivencia en el municipio de La Unión. Representantes de varias localidades, entre ellas Lorca, visitaron el edificio del Ayuntamiento, el Museo Minero y el Museo del Cante de la Mina, acompañados por el Alcalde de La Unión, Don Pedro López Milán, que además es Presidente de la Fundación Cante de las Minas.
López Milán hizo de guía dando explicaciones pormenorizadas de cada detalle de la colección de minerales y herramientas de minería que aguarda su interior. Tras ello, el grupo se desplazó hasta el Mercado Municipal, un impresionante edificio que es actualmente la sede del Festival más importante del mundo del flamenco: El Festival del Cante Flamenco de La Unión.
La jornada prosiguió con la visita a la mina «Agrupa Vicenta», que incluyó una actuación de música flamenca en directo para todos los asistentes. El día acabo con la comida en un conocido bar de la zona.
